Guidelines
Comprehensive guidelines for authors, reviewers, editors, and publication agreements.
The African Journal of Social Sciences and Management (AJSSM) distributes all of its publications under an Open Access (OA) license. The author implicitly accepts the publishing house's open access policy when they contribute to AJSSM. Free, unfettered internet access to research outputs is known as open access, or OA. All published articles are freely and unrestricted accessible to readers via an open access framework.
When a paper is submitted to AJSSM, the authors maintain copyright but give AJSSM extensive publication and distribution rights, including the ability to publish the work on AJSSM web platforms. Since the author retains copyright, AJSSM does not require copyright transfers.
By choosing open access, the author consents to publish the work under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY license), which permits the greatest possible distribution and reuse of open access resources. Users are allowed to use the publication under this license as long as they give due acknowledgment or attribution (give appropriate credit).
